Reflection
After going through 14 weeks of Illustration and Visual Narrative (IVN), I must say it has been quite a fun and exciting experience. I have learned so much about Illustrator through the exercises and tasks that I have done. I have learned to use the basic tools of Illustrator to make interesting illustrations and even an animation. Through IVN, I have also learned to understand key elements in a story and how to show a story with limited pictures. I have even learned to use colour palette in my composition which I have never really thought about before. Choosing a colour from references really makes your composition look more natural to the design plan you aim to achieve. Of course there were many ups and downs through this journey, I even had to go through a learning curve initially. But after 14 weeks of doing exercises and tasks, I was really happy with how far I have come. Overall, an extremely beneficial module and I am happy that this was the first course in degree!
