Week 7
Task 1
Methodology chosen should only be the one you used previously in Design Research Methodology. Screenshots for survey distribution are not needed. The responses for subjective questions are not needed in findings and should be in Appendices. The findings part should also just be the data description of the data collected, there is no need to explain why. Explanation would be used for discussions.Week 8

For the text colour in the cover, you can utilize the same colour as the ones used in the background. Name can be black however and doesn’t require ‘by’. When putting a text in the center of the book’s spine, make sure you have space so that when it is printed, the text would be visible.

Reflection
Experience
Throughout the 14 weeks of this module, it has been the most stressful and difficult time I have had for this college. Mainly because of my specialization, Entertainment Design, as I was still new and slow to drawing. So most of my time was spent doing my other modules instead of this one. However regarding this module, I found it honestly really exhausting at first. Having at least 7k words based on our previous research in Design Research Methodology sounded like a nightmare to me. I was also too focused on my other modules, and by then it was already week 6 and I had barely started my dissertation draft. During that week I planned to actually drop this module too, but looking back at it, I am glad I didn't and fought through it. My thoughts on the draft dissertation is honestly very neutral. It's just boring researching and citing things. The visual design publication was the task I enjoyed the most as designing layout and pages to me is very fun. I also gained some InDesign knowledge when working on the task. As for the last task, research article journal was fine. Overall, I didn't really enjoy the module that much, but I can see the importance of these kinds of research.
Observation
Initially, for the visual design publication I didn't know make my design stand out. So I looked at past students' work and see how they creatively organized their layout. This gave me some ideas and I experimented with making an appealing layout. It was great to see how interesting past students organize their layouts effectively while still following the theme to their research.
Findings
Throughout the 14 weeks, I have found that I have a hard time comparing and contrasting information especially during the literature review, so for that particular section, I took important keywords that I could use in each research paper and wrote down its information in a very concise yet understandable matter for me. This allow me to understand each paper more easier. I also find myself once again not organizing my time efficiently, so I need to improve that aspect for my upcoming semesters.
