It also needs to stand on a platform and be retoped. Lighting also needed further enchantment as well as for renders. I started with adjusting the character's posture. After doing some research I found a tool called 'Proxy Pose' which was extremely useful for for posing a character quickly. It wasn't perfect and required some adjustments but it was good enough for it to work. For the pose, I w...

This project is focused on adding more details such as scars and bumps or even skin details to make the character look more realistic. This project also requires colour implementation, have a light setup, as well as a final render of the character. Firstly, continuing from project 1, I first tackled the head of the character. I recreated the head as I didn't like how the current one looks. I found it insanely difficult to model a female model even whe...

Instructions 2. Project 1 : Stylized Character Blockout     Final Outcome 3. Reflection Lectures can be found here Instructions Back to Top ↑ Project 1 : Stylized Character Blockout In project 1, we needed to design a stylized character blockout to demonstrate our understanding on anatomy in our digital sculpting using the software, ZBrush. First, I needed a character to sculpt, so I took my character from my character design module and simplified it so that it wouldn't be something too complicated to sculpt. At this point, I didn't have a finalized character for my character design module yet either but just decided to choose/add what made sense. Below is th...

Reflection Lectures can be found  here Instructions   Back to Top ↑ Final Project : Post Production and Profiling For our final project, we need to do finishing touches our vehicle and essentially showcase our vehicle in a more refined and polished state. The requirements for this project are colour studies, texturing, key art, breakdown of props and orthographic drawings. Firstly, I decided to add texture to parts of the vehicle to give it a more worn look. Texture such as the headlights were also retextured as the previous one didn't look too noticeable. At the part where the vehicle opens, I also decided to change the dark interior by adding lights inside the v...

Reflection Lectures can be found  here Instructions   Back to Top ↑ Project 2 : Production In project 2, we needed to continue developing our vehicle from project 1. We now needed to select 1 design and continue expanding it further. In this project we needed to do a breakdown of the vehicle as well design the interior with props as well. Then we needed to add value, colour and also textures to the vehicle. After a consultation with Mr. Kannan, something in me just clicked about perspectives and conceptual drawing. The 3 drawings below are drawn based on my previous concept from project 1.Comparing to my project 1 sketches, I can an insane improvement in my drawing. fig 1.1, Concept Rebuild 1 (12/12/2024) fig...
